After relocating from Washington, D.C., our clients chose a home with water views that is nestled among trees, and envisioned a long-term sanctuary that was grounded in both beauty and functionality. The goal was to create a warm, inviting main floor in which our house designer would create a refined aesthetic centered around art, memory, and personal style.
Without a full renovation, we were able to reimagine the layout and finishes to create a cohesive feeling in the entryway, dining room, office, and kitchen. Our house designer chose durable materials and layered textures to strike a balance between family-friendly comfort and elevated design. The result is a home that feels collected, intentional, and ready to evolve over time.
