ABOUT
Amanda’s creative career began in the fashion industry in New York, where she immersed herself in the world of apparel and accessory design first as an intern for venerable design house Donna Karan and then launching a shoe collection under the Vince Camuto Group. Combined with her international travel, these early years instilled in her an eye for detail and an appreciation of quality materials.
Her sights soon began to shift from apparel to being an interior designer, and in 2018 she launched a full-service interior design firm in Annapolis, Details + Design. She gradually built a client list while raising her own young family, and brought on her first two employees in 2019, and opened a storefront and design studio just six months later. Responding to the burgeoning demand in the design and build sector of the Annapolis community, she also opened a furniture and cabinet showroom, featuring a comprehensive material library and a dedicated design team. In July of 2025, the firm expanded once again with announcing a second home-based in Sarasota, Florida. While Details and Design is now based in both Annapolis and Sarasota, with design services available nationwide.
Amanda believes that every space should feel lived-in and warm, and she accomplishes this by choosing natural layers and textures to create a versatile foundation that allows for creativity through scale, color, and personalization.
