A home with beautiful bones and untapped potential was thoughtfully reimagined into a timeless retreat for a young family trading city life for a slower, more intentional pace in the suburbs.
Our clients had just moved into their forever home and felt the bones were there — the space, the light, the potential. What was missing was theirs. The previous owners had left their mark in ways that were hard to ignore: a look that was very much of someone else’s choosing. The interiors beneath all of that felt cold and unfinished — dark flooring that absorbed the light, a disconnected kitchen layout with two competing islands, and rooms that didn’t yet reflect the warm, layered life they were building inside them. Our goal was to strip it back and rebuild the spaces into something that felt intentional, collected, and entirely their own.
